This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases made through Emulation storefronts or checkout flows for digital goods, licenses, keys, downloads, and related services.

Nature of digital goods

Many Emulation products are delivered digitally and may be activated, downloaded, or accessed immediately after purchase. Because of that, statutory cooling-off rules can be limited once delivery begins, where applicable law allows.

When we may issue a refund

We may approve a refund or replacement when, in our reasonable judgment, one or more of the following applies:

  • You were charged incorrectly or more than once for the same order.
  • The product was materially unavailable, defective, or not as described at the time of purchase and we cannot provide a timely fix.
  • We canceled the order or could not fulfill it.
  • Required consumer rights in your jurisdiction mandate a remedy.

When refunds are generally not provided

Refunds are typically not provided where:

  • You changed your mind after delivery or activation.
  • The product worked as described but did not meet subjective expectations.
  • Access was lost due to account sharing, policy violations, or platform bans outside Emulation control.
  • A discount or promotional price was clearly disclosed and accepted at checkout.

Chargebacks

Please contact support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Chargebacks can lead to suspension of access while the case is reviewed. If a chargeback is found to be abusive or fraudulent, we may restrict future purchases.

Regional consumer rights

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with mandatory consumer protections, nothing in this policy limits rights you have under law. Where law gives you a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off period, you may still be asked to confirm that you want immediate delivery and acknowledge that you may lose the right to withdraw once delivery starts, as permitted by applicable rules.
